After graduating with a Bachelor's Degree in Fine Art from James Madison University, I began a 13 year journey to find my place in the art community. I started by managing an art gallery and then...taught art lessons, went back to school to study graphic design, did logo and print work, created museum exhibit design, fabricated museum exhibit components, created vinyl signs, created custom landscape design elements... I welded, sculpted, painted, molded, weeded, trimmed, and then asked myself, "What do you actually like?" I've always been drawn to metal and leather, it may have been destiny. I had one grandmother teach me to ride and the other teach me to sew. I am fortunate to share a beautiful farm in Central Virginia with my incredibly supportive husband and the usual zoo of animals that find their way to a farm. Now, more than ever, I find myself inspired, creatively fulfilled and lucky to be able to keep indulging and nurturing my gift.
